Dave's been News Editor since November 2024. He joined Radio News Hub after 16 years in national radio news, 14 of them at Radio 4's Today Programme. Before that, he worked in commercial radio in West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and his home turf, the West Midlands.

Andy has been involved in radio for more than 30 years, in presentation, production and station management. Having been impressed by Radio News Hub's services as the Programme Director of a client station, he's now joined the team full time as a Broadcast Journalist.

Ellie graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2023 after studying English and Journalism. While attending the University she was social media editor for her local youth media site, she had her own weekly radio show and represented the university as a student ambassador.
Frankie Heresign

Frankie graduated from Leeds Trinity University in 2024 with an MA in Journalism. He decided to take a route into journalism after writing for the student newspaper whilst studying Law at the University of Leeds. Having started at Radio News Hub as a freelancer in summer 2024, he joined the team full time in March 2025.
Grace Mcintosh

Grace acheived her NCTJ diploma in 2024 after graduating from the University of Salford in 2023 with a BA (Hons) Media and Performance degree. Grace has been in the world of audio from the age of eleven - her first gig as a continuity announcer for CITV. Since then she's worked in voice over, hosted a podcast and a weekly local radio show.
Liv Thomson

Liv graduated with a Masters in broadcast journalism in 2024, and made the move from Glasgow to our office in Leeds! She's covered both the UK and US elections, as well as special projects like the Southport stabbings and the third anniversary of the Ukraine war.
